Should I take a session?
Please see the response here: One-On-One-Sessions.
What kind of issues can I take sessions with you for?
Please see this page – Types of Issues Addressed.
You can also check the Success Stories page which will give you an idea of the issues people take sessions with me for.
Is there a process to book a session?
To know the process please see the One-on-One Sessions page.
How long is a session?
Typically one and a half hours long, and don’t worry I don’t leave any client hanging in between when a breakthrough is imminent. I see it through till there’s a sense of completion.
Are there any pre-requisites?
Please see the pre-requisites section.
How many sessions will it take for an issue resolution?
That depends on your particular issue. I have seen people not need more than one session and I have seen people take more than three sessions. The maximum number of sessions a particular issue may require is five or six, and usually, they are related to deep-rooted trauma or serious physical issues. You can check more details about session packages here – Package Sessions.
For palliative care with regards to illnesses like Cancer, sessions can be as many as required. To know more about the types of issues addressed through sessions, visit the Types of Issues Addressed page. You can also make use of the 30 mins free call with me to discuss, if you wish, to gain clarity.
Should I take a package?
Here is what can help you decide:
You can consider a package if:
- You have a serious physical issue.
- If you have undergone significant mental and emotional trauma, including all forms of abuse.
You can discuss this with me during the no-obligations 30 min call.
Here are the cost details:
Do the issues go away after one session?
Issues come up because you have practiced certain habits, be in terms of thinking patterns and behaviour over the years. You can expect fast results because the modalities I use are proven to give quick results.
However, do not expect everything to disappear magically immediately after one session! You are unlearning and removing years and layers of mental conditioning. The one thing I can guarantee is a lessening of symptoms after one session. Yes, in certain cases I have seen disappearances too because the clients were extremely focused and determinedly committed and continued with the inner work on their own after the single session. I will also show you the tools you can use during the session.
The people who usually succeed are the ones who never waver from their internal focus on themselves and are deeply interested to explore themselves – and realize who they truly are.
So, a single session may work in dissolving the issue sometimes, and sometimes patience and persistence is required. It’s entirely upto you and your perseverance.
I personally will never suggest or pressure that you ‘need’ more sessions with me. (Honestly, all that you ever need is to shine the light of your love on the parts of you which you have so far ignored. That itself is enough to bring about healing in every way!)
If I have deep-rooted trauma, can I first try out a single session?
What happens sometimes is after a single session, clients feel more suppressed emotions come up later. The reason is, that the emotions have been suppressed for many years and have been festering within.
Now when you start the inner work, you’ve turned your attention to yourself, to your feelings and emotions. Therefore, now all those suppressed emotions feel safe and free to come up. And they come up to be freed. You will be shown the tools when you work with me to manage them. If you think you cannot manage them because they are too intense, then obviously you need additional external support from a practitioner/therapist/counsellor which is entirely your decision.
For deep-rooted issues, single sessions do have limitations. Packages offer well-rounded solutions.
What about repeat sessions (for those who take single sessions), if needed?
This question applies to people who take single sessions.
For the single sessions, my intention in the facilitating session is to break down your beliefs related to your current issue and offer a different perspective, thereby breaking the hold the issue has over you (unless it is related to painful and serious physical illnesses and emotional traumas/sexual abuse which may require more sessions. In fact, then I would suggest please look into the Package Sessions.).
Apart from that, my intention is also to empower you to trust yourself, so that you become confident in the knowledge that all the answers lie in you, no matter what the problem.
Having said that, if you think you require more than one session, for one particular issue, then for the repeat session, I would suggest you wait for one and a half weeks to two weeks (of course, that would also depend on the slots available at my end), before booking the next session with me.
This is because you need that much time to understand what changes are already taking place in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. For this, of course, you’ll need to observe yourself during those few days. You’ll understand the changes through your reactions to situations. Chances are, you may feel you do not need another session for that particular issue, and/or the next session could deal with some leftover residue/aspect or a completely new issue.
For that matter, I space out the sessions even with the clients who opt for package sessions with me. This is so that they can observe and understand the differences in their thoughts and behavior in the weeks in between.
Please Note: For serious physical issues or ailments diagnosed as terminal, such as, cancer, and also deep-rooted emotional traumas/abuse, repeat sessions can, of course, be booked anytime, depending on the urgency and the time-slots I have available. For physical illness support, management, and healing, priority is given to the more serious cases. I use a combination of EFT, NLP, Inner Child Work, and Hypnotherapy for these issues.
What exactly happens during a session?
During a session with me, you are provided a safe space to open up, take a look at yourself and your circumstances objectively. You can safely share your emotions and feelings. Based on the need of the moment, I can use different complementary therapeutic modalities to bring your deep-seated conflicting feelings to light.
If I feel the need, I may ask you to participate in a metaphor therapy process at the outset, to understand the deep-seated feelings, which even you may be unaware of consciously. I also use elements of Buddhist guided meditations during the sessions.
I follow up after each session for a specific time period to ensure that you are on track till the new beliefs/habits are ingrained.
Will I lose control if I undergo Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Please Note: Some people are under the misconception that Hypnotherapy is about controlling the client. It is not. As a therapist/facilitator, I cannot hypnotize anyone without their express permission. And Hypnotherapy is a technique that enables you to bypass the control of your own conscious mind and delve into your own unconscious with full awareness. It is NOT about the therapist/facilitator controlling the client.
In fact, clinical hypnotherapy in a nutshell is about un-hypnotizing you from your age old conditionings and awareness! It’s about showing you varied perspectives of a situation, some of which you are consciously not yet aware of.
You will not lose awareness during hypnosis. In fact, you will be even more in control and more alert during hypnosis, so much so that sounds may appear louder, images more vivid, and repeating life patterns suddenly become clear. I had a client once (this was when I used to take face-to-face sessions till a few years back) who suddenly asked me why is someone “clanking about in the kitchen so much!” There was nobody at my place, and it was from the house across the walkway! The sounds sounded very faint to me but clear and loud to the client under hypnosis who could even understand what vessels were making the sound! If anything, Clinical Hypnotherapy empowers you.
Also, no one can hypnotize you without your permission.
What can you expect during and after a session?
Please see the response here: One-on-One Sessions.
Are the sessions taken face-to-face or online?
Currently, all sessions are online.
Is email coaching/guidance available?
I prefer taking one-on-one sessions. I do not have an e-mail-only coaching option because frankly, it may not be of much help. Clients who take sessions with me automatically get to communicate with me through emails.
What about sessions for children and adolescents?
I take parentally supervised sessions for children and adolescents. The sessions go really well if the parents are proactively involved as partners with their children. The main modalities used are EFT, Hypnotherapy, and Metaphor Therapy. I start with Metaphor Therapy.
What about client confidentiality?
Any session I have with you is bound by the clause of client confidentiality. Your case details, personal information such as email ids, phone numbers etc., are not revealed to anyone. If I work with a couple, I do not discuss anything related to the husband/boyfriend with the wife/girlfriend, unless you both want to bring something together out in the open, and discuss with me and have a joint session together. (Please note, for joint or couple sessions I charge the same amount per head.) Prior to the session, there will be a form that you’ll need to acknowledge and sign which contains the client confidentiality clause.
If we are from the same town and I see you in public, I will not acknowledge you so as to respect confidentiality. I will leave it to you to come up and speak to me.
What is the cost of a single session and packages? How are the payments to be made?
The cost of a single session of one and a half hour is Rs. 8500 ($121.41 USD inclusive of GST+ taxes/conversion rates apply) To know the details of the packages and payment modes please see: Cost of Sessions
Please Note: I do not take any cases related to serious physical emergencies or mental health issues (including, cases of Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, etc.). For those instances, it is advised you reach out to the emergency services of a hospital or a mental health doctor.
The facilitations I provide as a service are not a substitute for medical advice or any prescriptions provided by any doctor or any other health professional. If you choose to avail my services, you do it out of your own volition and with the agreement that you are ultimately responsible for your own well-being.
