Modalities Used in the Sessions
The sessions I take include a combination of various complementary therapeutic modalities I am certified in, such as:
- Advanced Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
- Clinical Hypnotherapy
- Inner Child Work
- Shadow work
- Advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
- Metaphor Therapy (Jungian)
- Gestalt Therapy
The sessions are customized for your particular issue, as per your requirements.
My sessions are Non-Dualistic (Advaitic) and Zen-based in approach, i.e., they are based on mindfulness, self-enquiry, and self-observation. The very foundation of the work is self-love, self-compassion, and self-respect. My work is largely influenced by non-dualistic teachers such as Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi, SN Goenka (Buddhist Vipassana), Mooji, Thích Nhất Hạnh, and mystics like Neville Goddard.
For answers to questions you may have regarding the sessions with me, you can visit the FAQs on Sessions Page.

Should I take a session?
A session is for you if:
- You have undergone deep trauma due to abuse including sexual and emotional abuse, personal loss and it is affecting your growth in life.
- You currently find yourself stuck in repeating patterns in life and want to find the answers to break your pattern.
- You are facing gender challenges and want to come out confidently totally accepting and freely expressing who you are.
- You want to find out how to manage your physical symptoms related to any illness, or even move towards healing by transforming the way you think, feel, or manage your emotions.
- You are ready to accept the fact that only you can change yourself and your life and are ready to commit and invest time in doing the inner work on yourself.
Are there any pre-requisites?
Here are some pre-requisites that can aid a session with me:
- It would help to check your commitment level because this work is about knowing yourself. You are accountable only to yourself. So, you can book a session with me only when you are fully committed to an inner change. That way you respect your time and energy as well as mine.
- Once you contact me for a session, I prefer to have a no-obligations pre-session call with you for 30 mins. This helps me to understand your requirements and you too will get an understanding of how it will be for you to be working with me.
- It would be good if you have a light meal before attending a session with me. This is so that you do not feel dull, lethargic, and sleepy during the session. The more alert and aware you are, the more ready you will be for the deep insights that come up during the process, igniting readiness for belief changes, and therefore behavioral changes. Also, it will be ideal if you can completely avoid black tea and coffee before the session.
How much time does one session take?
My sessions are typically one and a half hours. I do not just provide cognitive counselling, but also during the process, as mentioned above, I use various therapeutic modalities to get through into your subconscious mind and work with the underlying beliefs and thought patterns.
Therefore, the sessions take time.
What can you expect during and after a session?
You can expect definitive transformation in the way you think, believe, and act. In some cases of deep-rooted emotional trauma, and also physical issues, it may take three to five sessions and sometimes more. The reason is, you have been carrying around the weight for a long time. So, there could be some amount of resistance in you to let go of past ways of thinking and feeling. The more determined you are to accept and let go of the resistance and of your past story, as you work on yourself the quicker the results.
And yes, I have also seen very quick results with clients who are extremely determined. These are especially clients with serious physical issues, who were determined to let nothing get in the way and were totally focused on healing. Their determination led to breaking their lifestyle patterns and thus breaking away from the disease/physical issue and consequently from their old selves.
After a session is over, depending upon the issue worked on, there could be certain guidelines to be followed. The guidelines could include focusing on specific affirmations, being mindful of certain behavioural and thinking patterns, and visualizations that you may need to continue for a certain time. This will help reset your nervous system completely to accept and embody new thinking and behavioural patterns.
Are the sessions taken face-to-face or online?
Currently, I am taking only online sessions, except for those who have certain physical issues. The online sessions have been highly effective with all my clients so far.
